Tesla is going to produce 100,000 Semi electric trucks a year. This is with reference to the head of the American automaker Ilona Mask, the publication Electrek.
The top manager noted that the figure of 100,000 trucks produced in 12 months can be achieved in four years of Semi production. At the same time, he described such volume as “reasonable”.

The minimum cost of a truck, which will begin production no earlier than 2019, will be $ 150,000.
Tesla has already received several pre-orders for Semi. The applications were left by such companies as PepsiCo, Bee’ah, Anheuser-Busch, and the UPS delivery service made the largest order. She needed 125 tractors.
Earlier it was reported that the company Tesla suffered a record loss in 2017. Losses amounted to 2.24 billion dollars compared to 773 million in 2016.
