The web has a video, in which the electric crossover Tesla Model X tows a truck, stuck on an icy road. The video posted by user Kyle Conner in the social network Facebook, filmed in North Carolina. This state was hardest hit by the snow storm that hit the northeast of the United States.
In the description to the clip it is indicated that, according to the passport, the Model X crossover is capable of towing a trailer with a mass of up to 2268 kilograms. In addition, the all-terrain vehicle is equipped with a system that controls the distribution of thrust between the axles.
Top model Tesla Model X – P100D – equipped with two electric motors located on the front and rear axle. Their total output is 774 horsepower and 967 Nm of torque. From zero to “hundreds” the electric car is able to accelerate in 3.1 seconds. The maximum speed is 250 kilometers per hour.
Earlier Tesla Model X competed in tug-of-war with Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and Hummer H2. In the first battle took part crossover in the modification P90D with an electric power plant with a capacity of 762 horsepower and 970 Nm of torque, in the second – 670-strong electric car.
