CarWow team uploaded a video on the YouTube channel that captured the confrontation between the American electric sedan Tesla Model S Performance and the Italian bull Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster.
By now, you should not be surprised to see how Tesla electric cars so privately chase supercars in a drag race. Models of the American brand Tesla have established themselves as fast, powerful cars that can match even the fastest cars that use conventional internal combustion engines. Moreover, if it is Tesla Model S in a more productive version of Performance.
This time, an Italian supercar Lamborghini Aventador S in the back of a roadster came out to race with an electric car. The organizers of the race are the foreign CarWow team, which has recently been pleasing us with very interesting races.
In fact, we saw a similar race last year: the Tesla Model S in the “evil” Performance performance against the Lamborghini Aventador S coupe. Can Lambo beat the American sedan this time? Let’s first look at the passport data of both cars.
The Tesla Model S Performance is powered by two electric motors that deliver a total power of 838 horsepower and a whopping 1,300 Nm of instantaneous torque. On the other hand, the Aventador S, with its gasoline 6.5-liter V12, produces 740 hp. power and 690 Nm of torque.
While the Model S “on paper” looks much more powerful than the Lambo supercar, it is important to note that the Tesla is much heavier – 2,241 kilograms. Well, the Italian bull weighs only 1625 kg.
