Tesla Model 3 of Chinese assembly will be on sale in EuropeOctober 19, 2020
The cars will go to dealers in four countries already in October this year.
Tesla, an American electric car manufacturer, has decided to supply the Model 3 to the European market from a factory in China. This was announced on Monday, October 19, by Reuters, citing the brand’s press service. At the moment, deliveries have been confirmed to 4 countries – France, Italy, Germany and Switzerland
The first copies will go to dealers before the end of October. At the moment, the brand’s plant in China continues to increase its production capacity – by the end of the year it is planned to reach an indicator of 150 thousand assembled cars per year.
Previously, the machines assembled at this factory were intended only for the Asian market. It is noteworthy that a little later in China, they will begin to assemble new Model Y crossovers.
It is not yet known exactly whether these cars will be intended exclusively for the Asian market or will also be exported in the future.
Earlier it became known that Tesla canceled the possibility of returning the car within 7 days after its purchase. No comments have yet been received as to why such a decision was made. It is possible that there have been a lot of returns lately, which has become unprofitable for the manufacturer.
