Tesla Model 3 lost a bumper on the goJuly 15, 2020
Apparently, Tesla did not solve the problem of bumps falling off on the go. Another proof of this was the video of the American Logan Derwan, in which his Model 3 is left without a rear bumper right when driving.
Interestingly, this happened after driving through a small puddle at a speed of about 60 km / h, and the driver, not noticing this, continued to move, as if nothing had happened.
The problem, according to experts, is the technology of fastening bumpers, which are attached to the body with the help of not very reliable plastic clips. Therefore, other owners already lost the stern of their own Tesla, but the manufacturer did not recognize such incidents as warranty.
By the way, the bumper is not the only detail that can suddenly fall off Model 3 on the go. A few months ago, a new electric car lost its steering wheel. Fortunately for the owner, everything happened at a low speed, and he was able to brake without any consequences.
In addition, fresh details about the new Tesla autopilot have recently appeared. So, very soon all Tesla cars can get fully unmanned technology.
