The Certification Authority Releases Official Efficiency And Range Of The Model 3 Sedan After Modernization
An updated version of the Tesla Model 3 sedan appeared in mid-October. Then the company provided preliminary information on the model’s range. Now data on the new Model 3 has appeared on the official website of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The new figures for the Long Range and Performance all-wheel drive versions confirm preliminary data from Tesla, which is sure to delight new buyers of the model.
The official range of the 2021 Tesla Model 3 in the Long Range version is now 568 km, 50 km or 9.6% more than the current model. Combined power consumption (including charging losses) has been reduced by almost 11% to 156 Wh / km. Battery consumption when driving in the city – 149 Wh / km, on the highway – 165 Wh / km.
Tesla Model 3 Performance AWD 2021 (with 20-inch wheels) will be able to offer a range of 507 km, that is, 26 km (+ 5.4%) more than the same current model. At the same time, the combined energy consumption of such a sedan remained at the same level – 185 Wh / km. Accordingly, in the city it is 178 Wh / km, on the highway – 196 Wh / km.
There is no information on the Standard Range Plus version yet. The manufacturer previously reported 423 km per charge for this base modification.
