Tesla is looking for designers to create a new electric car for ChinaJune 18, 2020
About 6 months ago, Elon Musk said that Tesla could release a new product in China. Now, the American corporation has officially announced the search for designers to develop a new electric car focused on China.
The company posted an announcement on the Chinese platform WeChat on Wednesday, June 17. Musk announced the possible creation of a model that will be focused on the Chinese market, at the event dedicated to the launch of Model 3 production at Shanghai’s Gigafactory plant in January of this year.
There is no details about the new Tesla model at the moment, but it is expected that it will be a small car, which will be located one step below Model 3 in the corporation’s lineup. Max said in January that the company wants to develop something out of the ordinary, like Cybertruck.
It is still too early to talk about the date of the appearance of the new Tesla model, since currently there is only a set of specialists to create the new design.
