Tesla has opened an order for Semi electric truck in EuropeJanuary 6, 2018
In the UK, the basic version of the Semi with a 500-km power reserve will cost about 110,000 pounds sterling.
In Europe, a preliminary order for a new electric truck Tesla Semi started. According to the American manufacturer, we are talking about three markets: the Netherlands, Norway and the UK.
The first European customers did not take long to wait. Norwegian company Asko has booked 10 electric trucks Tesla Semi, but said that she needs to know more about the novelty before the completion of the order.
In total, the American company Tesla has already managed to collect more than a thousand preliminary orders for its cargo novelty. And this despite the fact that the production of Semi starts only in 2019. However, the European version of the innovative truck will be launched even later. The question of whether Semi will need special adaptation for European rules is an open question.
The largest customer at the moment is the logistically giant US-UPS company. She ordered 125 electric trucks. The largest world producer of soft drinks Pepsi also ordered 100 units of this novelty.
Earlier it became known that Tesla Semi will have a competitor.
