Tesla Motors installed its own branded Supercharger charging station on the Nurburgring in Germany. Electric refueling will be used to replenish the energy of test prototypes of new modifications of electric cars, active tests of which are now being carried out on the “Northern Loop”.
“We equipped Supercharger at the Nurburgring. Now you can feel at home, right? ”, – written on the official twitter of Tesla. The company noted that the charging station was installed on an ongoing basis and will not be removed after testing.
It was previously reported that Tesla is testing several test cars at the Nurburgring. Among them, an improved prototype Model S with a retuned chassis, as well as an electric car with an upgraded transmission and three electric motors. Finally, the Americans are preparing for the release of a seven-seat modification of Model S.
In addition, Tesla is preparing to show the best time on the German track among four-door electric cars and take the record from the Porsche Taycan.
