In the UK, a Tesla Model 3 electric car lost a steering wheel while driving on a highway. On Monday, May 11, the owner of the car told about this incident on his Twitter page and attached the corresponding picture to the post.
The incident occurred near the city of Blackpool. According to the owner of Tesla Model 3, he owns a new electric car in just one month. The motorist told the New York Post that he had covered a distance of 547 km by car since the acquisition.
The American company reacted to the message of the British driver and took the electric car to a service center to sort out what had happened. It turned out that the steering wheel of the car was not bolted. Tesla promised to sort out the incident. Now the electric car with the wheel fixed properly has already been returned to the owner.
The Briton, in particular, expressed dissatisfaction with the long delivery of the electric car. As noted by the car enthusiast, he ordered a car in October, but received it only in March. Surely, this delay is caused by restrictions on the background of the coronavirus. According to the driver, he is a fan of the Tesla brand and has been saving up to 8 years for the acquisition.
In addition, it recently became known that the production of the Tesla Roadster electric car was postponed. At the same time, a new launch date has not yet been announced.
