Tesla cars will teach you how to talk with pedestriansJanuary 13, 2020
With the new feature, American electric car drivers will be able to communicate with other road users without opening a window.
Elon Musk on his Twitter posted the announcement of a new feature. It is expected that American electric cars will receive special external speakers that will allow them to communicate with pedestrians.
All details about the new technology are kept secret. Engadget reports that using this feature, the driver will be able to communicate with other road users or pedestrians without opening windows. Also, the founder of the company does not disclose the terms for the implementation of the new function.
It is also noted that in the future Tesla cars will receive the option of changing the beep and the sound of movement at low speeds to warn pedestrians. Elon Musk said that among the sounds of movement there will be a clatter of a horse’s hooves, and a goat bleating as a beep. There is no confirmation of such information yet, but all sounds will be downloaded by the driver directly from the Internet.
Recall that a few months ago, Tesla released a global update for its multimedia system, which allows, among other things, to watch videos from YouTube and Netflix, as well as play computer games. Last year, a new special Dog Mode was also implemented, which allows owners of electric cars to leave pets unattended in the cabin. It provides an optimal climate in the cabin of an electric car.
