The Tesla V10.0 software update adds features such as Smart Summon, Netflix / YouTube, Spotify, karaoke and more.

The American manufacturer of electric cars has released a new software update that adds many additional features. These include the new Smart Call feature, which will allow cars equipped with an additional package for $ 5,000 to autonomously leave the parking lot to pick up the driver in the parking lot.

This is one of the most advanced semi-automatic driving features that Tesla has not yet introduced to the general public, and the company still states that customers should only use it when the owner is confident in the safety of this method. In an emergency, the car can also be remotely stopped.

Other new features introduced in this update include popular Spotify built-in support, which is available to all Spotify Premium account holders in all markets where it is available. In China, Tesla also launches Ximalaya, a podcast and streaming audiobook service.

Tesla Theater Mode, introduced in version 10.0, connects the infotainment system with Netflix, YouTube and Hulu / Hulu + accounts, providing access to streaming video from all of these platforms. In China, the automaker is also adding IQiyi and Tencent Video.

Many of these updates focus on entertainment features, including the new “Caraoke” mode, which, as you might have guessed, adds karaoke to the car with a “huge” library of music and lyrics, as well as multi-language support. Singing together on road trips has long been possible only with low-tech options, but official support can encourage more lover James Cordens.

Tesla also added some new navigation features that offer interesting restaurants and sightseeing opportunities along the way. There is also a new file system setting that shares the videos captured by the car’s camera in Dashcam and Sentry Mode, so that users can easily find them and they will be automatically deleted if necessary to free up storage.
