Tesla began testing its improved autopilotOctober 22, 2020
This was announced by the owner of the company, Elon Musk. The tests will take place in several stages in order to collect the most reliable information.
Tesla spoke about the beginning of the beta testing process for a full autopilot. This became known on Thursday, October 22. It is noteworthy that the tests are carried out among Tesla car owners. Elon Musk announced the event last week – then he said that tests would be carried out only among the most experienced owners to avoid problems and obtain the most reliable information.
Now it has become known that the company is going to bring the new technology even more smoothly. The new autopilot will be called Full Self-Driving, which means “complete self-driving”. We managed to get such functionality due to new software. The work was very difficult and capacious, since the software had to be made up almost from scratch.
If all tests are successful, the new autopilot will put Tesla far ahead of its main competitors.
Earlier it became known that Tesla will sell Model 3 cars in Europe, which are assembled at a factory in China. At the moment we are talking about 4 countries of the old continent. This strategy will allow you to more optimally allocate resources and get more profit.
