Teasers of the budget crossover Volkswagen Nivus appeared on the network
March 13, 2020 Volkswagen office in Brazil has distributed new teaser images of the new item – an inexpensive Nivus cross, which will be built on the MQB-A0 architecture.
This time, they demonstrated the interior of Nivus, where you can see the steering wheel, the touch screen of the infotainment complex.
Although everything is demonstrated very dynamically and without focus on the general plan, however, you can pay attention to the fact that the novelty has the same torpedo concept as the Volkswagen Polo. The novelty has only a different multimedia complex: in Nivus, unlike Polo, it does not have physical buttons.
According to assumptions, the cross will be equipped with a “turbo-engine” with a volume of 1.0 liter with a capacity of 116 (for “mechanics”) and 128 hp. (for automatic transmission). The MQB-A0 platform cannot be equipped with all-wheel drive.
The crossover will begin to produce closer to summer. The new model will be available not only in the South American market, it has every chance to enter Europe.
