Teaser updated BMW X3 M, X4 M asks to wait a little moreFebruary 4, 2019
The “charged” versions of the BMW X3, X4 join the X5 M and X6 M. The BMW X3 M and X4 M online presentation can happen at the end of this month, before their public debut at the Geneva Motor Show (early March 2019).
In early September last year, the Bavarian brand BMW first introduced the so-called “charged” versions of its X3 M and X4 M crossovers, publishing photos with disguised prototypes. Well, a couple of minutes ago, the press service of the automaker published a video that shows almost ready for presentation crossovers. They are also covered with camouflage film.
The video says that there is very little waiting – a joint presentation of these cars will be held at the Geneva Motor Show, which in turn will be held in March of this year.
Some details about the upcoming X3 M are already known – there is no data about the X4 M yet. The X3 M looks more aggressive than the X3 M40i. It is reported that under the hood of the long-awaited news will be a powerful 3.0-liter inline engine with 6 cylinders. It is rumored that the standard version will offer at least 450 horsepower, and the Competition version will increase this figure to 500 hp. The all-wheel drive xDrive will be installed on both the X3 M and X4 M.
So far there is not a word about the dynamic characteristics – it goes without saying that the X3 M will easily overtake the X3 M40i. The latter will be able to overcome the first hundred in 4.6 seconds.
