Team presentation Forward Racing MV Agusta 2019February 12, 2019
The Forward Racing team officially announced the return of MV Agusta to the Big Prizes, since yesterday there was a presentation of motorcycles and riders.
After 42 years, the Italian manufacturer returns to the paddock Grand Prix. The Varese plant has teamed up with an experienced Forward Racing team. Interestingly, in this case, the Italians are the developers of the chassis, while their motorcycle is completed, like all motorcycles of the series, a 765-cubic three-cylinder engine Triumph Moto2. In general terms, we can say that they use a lattice frame, an aluminum pendulum and an Ohlins suspension.
The presentation took place in the Milan studio “Garage Italia Custom”, where Stefano Manzi and Dominic Agerter presented their motorcycles. The team is now actively preparing for the tests, which will be held in Almeria (February 15-16), and then in Jerez (February 20-22).
“I grew up in the world of motorsport, sharing the victories of our brands in motocross, Paris-Dakar, superbike, Grand Prix 500,” said Giovanni Castiglioni, president of MV Agusta. – We have always dreamed of returning MV Agusta to the big motorsport. I am proud of what we have achieved, and I see how the Moto2 project embodies our dreams and inflames the memories of our dedicated fans. Everything worked out thanks to the hard work of crazy dreamers, including our engineers MV and CRC (Centro Ricerche Castiglioni). ”
