Suzuki presented the seven-seat crossover XL7February 16, 2020
The Japanese automaker created this large SUV, primarily for the Indonesian market. Here he held his public premiere.
Suzuki on the eve presented its large three-row crossover Suzuki XL7, designed for seven seats. The main market for the new items is called Indonesia. The developers are confident that local motorists will appreciate the XL7 – a kind of hybrid of the popular and reliable SUV and roomy minivan. Japanese bid to the Indonesian market should play, because in this country more than 30 percent of automobile sales are in minivans. Add to this those buyers who are ready to make the choice in favor of crossovers, whose popularity has only been growing in recent years. It turns out that with the help of one model in Suzuki they intend to “shoot” at once in two popular segments of the car market.
Suzuki XL7 boasts a rather roomy interior, which can not be said for its dimensions: the length reaches only 4,450 mm, and the width and height are 1,775 and 1,710 mm, respectively.
A one and a half liter gasoline engine, combined with a 5-speed manula transmission or a four-speed automatic transmission, is responsible for the performance of a seven-seat crossover. The manufacturer has not yet disclosed the cost of the novelty.
Recall that earlier, the XL7 prefix wore a five-meter Suzuki crossover for the US market. It was based on the first-generation Chevrolet Equinox platform and was produced from 2006 to 2009.
