Suzuki collects orders for a small crossover HustlerDecember 24, 2019
Funny miniature SUV Hustler of the second generation at one time became one of the main premier auto show in Tokyo.
Suzuki began accepting orders for the next-generation Hustler crossover. With the first generation of this model, fans of the brand met back in 2013. The novelty is still similar to that Hustler, but at the same time has a completely new body and interior. The car became rougher and “square”, while maintaining its own corporate identity, which incorporated the features of a key car and an all-terrain vehicle. Also, the novelty was equipped with an additional third side window.
The length of the Suzuki Hustler is 3,395 mm, the width is 1,475 mm, the height is 1,680 mm (without rails), the wheelbase is 2,460 mm, and the ground clearance is 180 mm. This is slightly larger than its predecessor.
Inside the car there was a new dashboard with a 4.2-inch screen, multimedia with a 9-inch display, folding seats of the second row (50:50), as well as more practical materials that are convenient to wash. The next Hustler’s engine lineup included two 0.66-liter three-cylinder engines: a 49-horsepower atmospheric and a 64-horsepower turbocharged. All are complemented by a 48-volt starter alternator. The drive is full, and the variator plays the role of the transmission. The novelty relies on a wide range of available options that are responsible for comfort and safety.
The cost of a car in the home market varies from 1,365,100 to 1,746,800 yen. Japan brand dealers will begin offering the new Suzuki Hustler to customers starting January 20, 2020.
