Suzuki brings Hustler concept to Tokyo auto showSeptember 30, 2019
The concept of a new generation of Suzuki Hustler will appear at the brand’s booth as part of the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show, which will begin work on October 25.
With the first generation of Suzuki Hustler, the brand introduced its fans back in 2013. This car was based on a platform from Suzuki Wagon R and was essentially a successful hybrid of a key car and a crossover. Now Suzuki intends to bring the next generation Hustler to Tokyo. The novelty differs from its predecessor in more square shapes and the presence of a third side window. This is where the external difference between the two generations of models ends. Salon Suzuki Hustler has changed more dramatically: two color displays – multimedia and dashboard, more practical finishing materials that are easy to clean, as well as a rubber coating on the trunk floor.
The length of the novelty reaches the mark of 3,395 mm, the width is 1,475 mm, the height is 1,680 mm.
Under the hood of the second-generation Hustler all-wheel drive will be located three-cylinder engines of 0.66 liters in two versions – aspirated and turbo. Both are complemented by a 48-volt starter generator and braking energy recovery system. Transmission – CVT. The serial Hustler is expected to almost completely repeat the concept car. The cost of new items and the date of its market debut is kept secret.
