The Japanese automaker began selling the new XL7 crossover in Indonesia.
Suzuki will provide the first commercial vehicles to brand dealers in Indonesia in the first quarter of 2020.
The new crossover is a seven-seat version of the compact van Suzuki XL6, which is currently sold in India. The length of the novelty is 4,445 mm, and the vehicle’s ground clearance is 180 mm. The XL7 crossover will become the converted Suzuki Ertiga model, which has already become the bestseller of the brand.

The car’s interior is decorated with a modern infotainment system with a 7-inch display. The equipment of the novelty includes automatic climate control, cruise control and rear parking sensors. As additional options, leather upholstery, light and rain sensors and all-round cameras are available. To ensure safety, the automaker installed two airbags, a stabilization system, as well as an emergency braking system.
The 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 105 hp acts as a power plant, which works in conjunction with a 48-volt starter-generator. The motor works in conjunction with a 4-speed automatic transmission, or a five-speed manual transmission. The drive will be available only front.
