Supercar Ford GT destroyed at the first tripJune 18, 2018
Supercar Ford GT, whose mileage is only 70 kilometers, was destroyed on one of the streets of German Ostermünchen. A car worth almost 450 thousand euros caught fire for as yet unknown reason. This is written by the publication Rosenheim24.
During the start of the fire in the car behind the wheel was a 52-year-old owner of Ford GT and his son in a passenger seat. They both managed to leave the car in time – no one was hurt. The supercar was extinguished by a fire brigade arriving at the scene.
As they say in the message of the local police department, the exact cause of the fire is not yet clear. Perhaps this was due to a technical malfunction.
Until 2020, only 500 copies of the Ford GT will be produced. The supercar is equipped with a turbocharged motor of the 3.5 V6 EcoBoost family. The engine output is 655 horsepower and 745 Nm of torque. The maximum speed of the Ford GT is 347 kilometers per hour.
The company sells the model only to selected customers. According to some reports, the owner of the burnt Ford GT also has in its collection supercars Bugatti, McLaren, Ferrari and Lamborghini.
