Supercar for 250,000 euros collapsed on two fences and the wall of the barnMay 7, 2020
Inattentive driver of super-expensive McLaren 650S Spider collided with another sports car and crashed into a farm household. Damage: more than 150,000 euros!
An unusual accident occurred in Switzerland last week. On one of the country roads in the canton of Appenzell-Innerroden, the sporty McLaren 650S Spider was paired with another sports car, and all would be fine, but in a flash the “partner” had to slow down because of the car that was driving to the meeting. This is where the trouble started.
The driver of the 650-strong McLaren did not have time to react to the “abrupt” stop of his partner, as a result of which he rammed him, and then flew out of the way. But immediately the car did not stop: for some time it was still rushing through the meadow, rammed two fences and stopped only on the wall of the barn.
As a result, a sports car worth about 250,000 euros received quite serious damage to the body. According to preliminary data, the amount of damage amounted to 152,000 euros. This is about the same as the cost, for example, the new Porsche Carrera S.
As for the driver of the McLaren 650S Spider, the 38-year-old man escaped with injuries – he was hospitalized in the hospital.
