For the sake of arrival all the way was completely blocked, but the first time it was not possible to set the record due to weather conditions.

Successful race was only the fourth attempt. As a result, Higgins drove all the highway in 40 minutes 58.08 seconds.

Prior to this, Higgins set a record for the legendary race on the Isle of Man, driving the same 600-strong Subaru STI Type RA, a 60-kilometer track in 17 minutes 49.75 seconds. In addition, the pilot drove the Nurburgring in 6 minutes 57.5 seconds, and also overcame the bobsleigh track on this car.
