Subaru showed an updated version of the Crosstrek cross with many visual and technical improvements.
Limited and Sport trim levels are equipped with a 2.5-liter engine, while the standard model and Premium version are still equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine from its predecessor with a capacity of 152 hp. and 267 Nm of torque.
The base cross and Premium variation received a 6-speed manual transmission, and an optional continuously variable transmission is offered, while the Limited and Sport modifications are delivered exclusively with CVT. All versions have a standard all-wheel drive system.
Crosstrek in the Limited configuration received modern security systems, such as automatic braking, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping and automatic switching to high beams. By default, the novelty is equipped with a 6.5-inch screen multimedia system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while an optional 8-inch display is available.
The Sport version is notable for its aggressive appearance, dark-gray 17-inch wheels, metal accents on the grille and side mirrors, and two more unique body colors: Plasma Yellow Pearl and Horizon Blue Pearl. In the cabin of this option, it is worth noting the presence of a yellow stitching over the vinyl trim, floor mats with a yellow Sport emblem and yellow accents on the steering wheel.
Sales of the restyled crossover Subaru Crosstrek should start this year. The manufacturer has not yet begun to disclose the cost of the novelty.
