Subaru recalls more than 400 thousand of its cars worldwide due to engine problemsNovember 1, 2018
Large-scale service action provoked the detected defect, which may cause spontaneous termination of the engine.
The information that Subaru has launched a new revocable campaign has been spread by Japan’s largest news agency, Kyodo. According to the local IA, the repair requires more than 400 thousand cars with the Subaru logo. The list includes models Forester, Impreza and BRZ, released from January 2012 to September 2013. The cars that came under the recall were sold both in the domestic market and in foreign countries.
In Japan itself, there are about 100 thousand of these cars, 310 thousand cars were sent for export at one time.
The problem, due to which the owners of Subaru will have to contact the service center, is that the car engine may unexpectedly turn off the driver. Such an effect causes a malfunction found on the indicated models.
