Subaru introduced the updated Subaru XV
October 10, 2019Following the restyling of the Subaru Impreza model, the cross-hatchback XV received a changed appearance.
Recall that the Subaru XV is unified with the Impreza model, about which AutoTimesNews wrote the other day, so it was also affected by the update. Now the model boasts other LED DRLs with a more even and soft glow, as well as redone fog lights in the rear bumper. The five-door has found a new multimedia system with an enlarged screen and enhanced functionality, which is why the buttons on the center console have been revised, the press release said.
In addition, already in the database, the model received a complex of Eyesight Touring Assist systems, which includes adaptive cruise control, as well as automatic braking and holding systems in the lane. The X-Mode system received two preset modes: there are separate settings for driving on a dirt road and on dirt.
In addition, with the updated design and list of options, the Subaru XV engine range has also changed. Now the 2.0-liter modification comes exclusively with the e-Boxer system, that is, an electric motor built into the variator with a return of 14 hp. power and 65 Nm of torque, which helps during starting and in the first seconds of acceleration.
Sales of new items will start in November this year. However, so far only in China. Later, the updated cross-hatch will reach other markets, however, in Russia a hybrid modification should not be expected.
