Subaru has unveiled a hybrid version of the Impreza e-BoxerFebruary 18, 2020
An updated Impreza for the Japanese and American car markets was introduced last year. Now the next model for Europe.
Japanese carmaker Subaru shares photos of the updated Impreza model for European buyers. Recall that the version for the home market was presented in August, and for the US car market in October. In Europe, the novelty will receive an e-Boxer index in the name and will acquire a hybrid power plant. The official presentation of the car will be held March 3 at the Geneva Motor Show. If we talk about the appearance of the model, then it gets a lot from the modification for Japan. In particular, the front bumper with chrome inserts and the grille with long horizontal sections.
Designers have added a new body color – it is called Ocean Blue Pearl. Also, for a surcharge, it will be possible to purchase rims with an original design.
But the developers have left the salon unchanged. Note the expanded set of technical equipment of the car. The main highlight was the whole range of driver assistance systems called EyeSight. Among other things, it includes an autopilot for driving on the highway. The power plant of the new Impreza e-Boxer is based on a 2.0-liter engine with a return of 150 hp. In addition to it, an electric motor with a power of 17 hp is relied on. In tandem with the engine, a variator and a proprietary all-wheel drive system work.
