The 2022 model year Subaru Impreza compact sedan and hatchback have been announced with a constant starting price. The Japanese car has received several new options.

Subaru is announcing pricing and a range of updates for the 2022 Impreza for the US market. While there are virtually no changes to the car for the new model year, prices have not changed either, which should be good news for those planning to buy a compact Subie.

New for model year 2022 is Sapphire Blue Pearl, available in all trim levels for both the sedan and the five-door hatchback. The Impreza range consists of four trim levels – Base, Premium, Sport and Limited, although the Limited trim is now offered exclusively for the hatchback.

The Impreza 2022 is available in both black and ivory colors, depending on the trim level.

Leather is also standard on higher trim levels, while the Limited trim gets a more upscale interior with Premium features.

In terms of engine line-up, the 2022 Impreza is still available with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard for the sedan and in base and sport trim for the hatchback. Cars equipped with a Lineartronic CVT come standard with Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist technology, which includes automatic pre-collision braking and throttle control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning and swing warning, and start warning movement of the lead vehicle.

All versions of the new Impreza will be powered by a 2.0-liter boxer engine developing 152 horsepower (197 Nm). In terms of pricing, Subaru has said the 2022 Impreza will be priced unchanged, which means the price starts at $ 18,795 for the base sedan.

Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote that on the Internet they showed a confrontation between the Subaru WRX STI and the Altima drift car with a capacity of 1300 hp. Hoonigan’s YouTube channel has released a video of Travis Pastrana and his custom-built Subaru WRX STI competing against a 1,300hp Nissan Altima drift car.
