Subaru has launched the next generation of Levorg station wagon road tests. Spy photos of the test prototype published edition Motor1.
The pictures depicted the so-called “mule” – under the old body hidden components and assemblies of the new car. The basis of Levorg will be the new modular architecture of SGP, which is already being used by the new Impreza and XV.
It is assumed that in the appearance of the next Levorg use stylistic solutions concept car Viziv Tourer, presented in March 2018 at the Geneva Motor Show. The overall length of the prototype was 4775 mm, width – 1930 mm, and height – 1435 millimeters. The size of the wheelbase is 2730 millimeters.
The concept car received an advanced set of driver assistance systems for the EyeSight, which, for example, included two video cameras under the windshield to monitor the traffic situation.
On the engines of the production car is not reported. The current Subaru Levorg is equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline supercharged unit, whose power is 170 horsepower. A 2.0-liter engine with 300 horsepower is also available. Both engines are combined with a CVT and all-wheel drive.
