Streetracer tried to give Lamborghini Urus for Volkswagen GolfNovember 21, 2019
In the UK, police seized a luxury crossover from a driver
In Manchester, a street racer was caught on an uninsured Lamborghini Urus. The local police driver provided insurance for another car – Volkswagen Golf, but the deception did not work. Law enforcement authorities seized a crossover from the motorist and wrote out a fine.
The police stopped the man at Urus when he staged an unauthorized race in one of Manchester’s squares. When checking the documents, it turned out that the driver only had insurance for his parents Golf, and a powerful Italian crossover was not insured at all. This was the reason for the seizure of the car.
Lamborghini Urus is equipped with a four-liter V8 engine with two turbochargers, the power of which is 650 forces and 850 Nm of torque. From zero to “hundreds” the supercar accelerates in 3.6 seconds, and the maximum speed is 305 kilometers per hour.
Earlier in the UK, they decided to fine cars that were too loud, including supercars. To do this, special cameras were installed on the tracks – acoustic fixation systems that read the noise level. These devices are designed to solve the problem of rural areas, whose residents often complain about the sound from tuned cars and motorcycles.
The driver of this Lamborghini felt the need to use Stevenson Square @GMPCityCentre as a racetrack, in full view of a liveried firearms patrol. Turns out him being a named driver on his parents Golf didn't cover him to drive the vehicle so it has been seized for no insurance. pic.twitter.com/jOlSSoK0gh— GMP Traffic (@gmptraffic) 14 листопада 2019 р.
