SsangYong updated Rexton frame SUVSeptember 2, 2019
SsangYong launched the Rexton restyling family, which includes an SUV and a pickup truck, on the home market. The changes have a point character and mainly relate to the exterior design and a set of basic equipment.
The updated fourth-generation Rexton SUV received a chrome-plated radiator grill with a three-dimensional pattern and an upgraded key with the remote headlights function. In addition, the list of standard equipment included a monitoring system for dead zones and a tracking system for movement lane.
The pickup, in turn, got new bumpers – now they look the same as an SUV, while the radiator grill remains the same.
The engine line has not changed: it consists of one 2.2-liter turbodiesel that produces 187 horsepower. Prices in South Korea range from 18 thousand dollars for an SUV to 23 thousand for a pickup truck. An extended version of the latter will cost 5.4 thousand dollars more.
According to the Association of European Businesses, in the period from January to July of this year, only four new SsangYong cars were sold in Russia, so in fact the nonsense left our market. However, there has not yet been an official statement on this subject.
