Sports crossover Audi SQ3 will receive a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with a payback of 340 hp and will be presented this summer
Company Audi has started road tests of the sports version of the crossover Q3 of the second generation. The novelty will be called SQ3 and will be presented this summer. Spy car photos were laid out by Autocar. Judging by the first pictures, the car will receive a new grille, massive wheel arches and large rims.
The next-generation crossover will be built on the MQB platform. Audi SQ3 will receive a 2.5-liter gasoline engine. The power of the unit will be approximately 340 hp. The motor will work together with a six-speed manual transmission or automatic transmission with two clutches.
Also expected to appear super-powerful version of the crossover called RS Q3. It is expected that this modification will be equipped with a 2.5-liter engine with a return of 395 hp.
According to unofficial data, the length of the Audi Q3 will be 4450 mm, and the width – 1860 mm. The size of the wheelbase will grow to 2650 millimeters. The volume of the trunk will be about 440 liters. The basic motor, most likely, will be a 1.5-liter gasoline engine. The engine power will be 128 horsepower.
Later, the crossover will receive a hybrid modification. The power unit will include a 1.4-liter TFSI petrol engine and an electric motor. Also expected to appear a fully electric version of the Audi Q3. The power reserve for such a modification of the crossover will be about 300 kilometers.
