Sports Mercedes-AMG A45 filmed on tests at the NurburgringApril 23, 2019
The company Mercedes-AMG conducts the final road tests of the hottest A45 on the track at the Nurburgring, and the photo spies managed to shoot a sports car in minimal camouflage.
Despite the fact that the car is trying to hide the front and rear parts, it is easy to see that the A45 is more sporty than the younger A35 – the more powerful version has a different grille with vertical slats, a large trunk spoiler and four exhaust tips.
AMG engineers have also improved the suspension, brakes and steering, so it should behave better on the track than its predecessor, and moreover is designed to become one of the fastest hatchbacks on the market, having a 2-liter 4-cylinder turbo 415 horsepower in top version, and 383 horses in a lighter.
Thanks to more power, improved aerodynamics and reduced weight, the new AMG A45 should be faster than the outgoing model, which accelerates to a hundred in 4.2 seconds, and the maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h.
So far, there is not a word about where and when the new A45 will be presented, but according to preliminary information, the online presentation of the sports car will take place at the end of the summer, and the live novelty will be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
