Crossover Audi RS Q8 will equip a 680-horsepower hybrid powerplant from Porsche Panamera
The charged version of the crossover Audi Q8 will be equipped with a 680-horsepower hybrid powerplant from the Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid Sport Turismo. Thus, the new product will be more powerful than the Lamborghini Urus, which is equipped with a 650-horsepower engine. This is reported by Autocar.
The power unit Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid Sport Turismo includes a four-liter V8 engine, which works in tandem with an electric motor. In total, the aggregates produce 680 hp. and 850 Nm of torque.
Audi RS Q8 will be the most powerful serial model in the history of the company from Ingolstadt – more powerful than the supercar R8 V10 Plus, which is equipped with a 610-horsepower engine. The main competitors of the Audi RS Q8 will be the BMW X6 M, the Mercedes-Benz GLE 63 Coupe and the Range Rover Sport SVR.
According to preliminary data, the charged version of the crossover will differ from the standard modification of the retuned suspension, reinforced braking mechanisms, and a modernized exhaust system.
