Photos of the next generation Hyundai Sonata prototype appeared on the Web. Judging from the pictures taken in the United Arab Emirates, the rear light in the entire width of the body will become a feature of the car.
The new Hyundai Sonata will receive LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights. The rear lights will be blocks with a C-shaped light patterns, connected by a thin luminous stripe. A similar solution is used on the Santa Fe crossover for the Chinese market.

The plug-in hybrid is also in the current model. These machines are equipped with a 2.0-liter engine producing 156 horsepower, working on the Atkinson cycle, and an electric motor with a return of 68 horsepower. Battery capacity is 12.9 kilowatt-hours. It allows you to drive 75 kilometers without starting the engine.
