The organizers of Formula E have officially announced that in 2020 a stage of the championship of electric car races will be held in the capital of South Korea – Seoul.
JSM Holdings will act as a promoter in the UK, with whom the race management has signed agreements. On this occasion, last Thursday, a solemn ceremony was held with the participation of Formula E founder Alejandro Agag and JSM Holdings CEO Moon Jae Sick.
It is assumed that the route will lay through the central regions of Seoul.
Thanks to this agreement, the Korean stage of the championship will be held for five years, starting with the sixth season of the race. The route of the route has not yet been approved, the authorities of the capital and the FIA World Council of Autosport will deal with this.
Agag says Seoul is great for holding an E-Prix, and this will allow them to best show the benefits of motorsport. Therefore, he is very pleased with the possibility of holding Formula E in the country of Morning Freshness.
