Soon to announce the successor to the Mitsubishi PajeroSeptember 14, 2019
It seems that the Japanese company has decided on the replacement of the legendary SUV. Previously, in the manufacture of a car, emphasis was placed on cross-country ability, now special attention will be paid to practicality. A successor should enter the market in 2-3 years.
The Australian portal CarAdvice announced that the Japanese company Mitsubishi will make a family crossover with a new model name from the popular Pajero SUV. Ashwani Gupta, operations director of the Japanese concern, hinted at this. A new car should enter the market in 2-3 years.
Ashwani noticed that at the moment the final fate of the Pajero model has not been decided, but the company also does not plan to launch mass production of SUVs. At the moment, two Japanese manufacturers Mitsubishi and Nissan are developing a new scalable platform, which will be used in many models. Such a platform will receive, including the new Mitsubishi Outlander, as well as other SUVs.
The current version of Pajero can still be purchased in seventy countries, but soon the volume of the model on the market will begin to plummet. Experts believe that upgrading past generations is quite expensive and most likely will not pay off. In Russia, the five-door Pajero will be sold around the end of this year.
