Skywell revealed the first electric SUVApril 1, 2020
There is hardly a day when a Chinese manufacturer is not promoting a new all-electric model. Today Skywell presents its EV: BE11.
Founded at the end of last year, Skywell is a brand of the parent company Sky-well New Energy Automobile Group with the extraordinary slogan “Skywell: everything is good”. The Chinese manufacturer begins with enthusiasm and reports that by 2025 four fully electric models will appear in its showrooms – cars using one of the two EV platforms that are “on the shelves” of the brand. And this BE11 claims to be its piece of cake.
Skywell BE11 – an SUV 4.7 meters long with a wheelbase of 2.8 meters. This newcomer also has a strip of light extending across the entire width of the rear, and a front panel with which the car looks somewhat aggressive, but not excessive.
Inside, a large digital display occupies a prominent place on the center console. Below you can see a few “Mercedes-like” buttons, although the rest of the dashboard is simply equipped with its own design. The wide bars in the upper level of the dashboard are amazing. Skywell currently keeps the technical specifications a secret, although the brand claims that the range of the electric SUV is about 500 kilometers.
At the beginning of last month, responding to the coronavirus epidemic, Skywell launched a “medical conveyor” capable of producing 400 thousand disposable masks per day. Now the virus has receded, and the company has returned to cars.
