Skoda Vision iV Concept is completely revealed before the official debutMarch 5, 2019
The new electric crossover demonstrates the company’s ambitious plans to electrify its own model line. The concept also shows the direction of development of the design of future models from a Czech manufacturer.
Despite the fact that the main attention will be drawn to the debut of the new Skoda Kamiq compact cross, the concept of Skoda Vision iV deserves no less attention. The model is a kind of signal to start a large program for the electrification of all vehicles of the Czech company, and also shows the future design of models.
Vision iV will go down in history as the first Skoda car built on the basis of the new MEB platform of the Volkswagen Group, which in the coming years will become the basis of many VAG cars. Of course, the giant 22-inch wheels with backlight will not reach the production version, but the new sharp lines of the body are already beginning to appear on the new models.
It is assumed that Skoda will soon introduce a new interior concept for its own cars. As the power plant will be used twin-engine layout, with still unknown power. The power reserve is approximately 500 km on a fully charged battery.
By the end of 2022, Skoda plans to release a total of 10 electrified models. The first one will appear next year.
