Czech company released restyled versions of the model for China
Skoda introduced an alternative updated Rapid – improvements related to performance for the Chinese market. Restyling brought the four-door sedan and five-door hatchback a slightly rethought appearance in the style of the European Skoda Scala and a new multimedia system.

The rest of the interior is the same: the designers did not touch the dashboard, steering wheel or door cards.
Technical innovations came down to forcing a non-alternative atmospheric 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine EA211 for two horsepower up to 112 horsepower. The transmission is the same: a choice of 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic. At the heart of the sedan and hatchback, the former PQ25 platform
In China, the updated Skoda Rapid will go on sale before the end of the first quarter. Prices for China have not yet been announced. A pre-styling model will cost local customers 69,900 yuan for a hatchback and 71,900 yuan for a sedan.
