Skoda unveiled the new Kamiq crossover before the official debutFebruary 6, 2019
In the Geneva Motor Show in early March 2019, a new compact crossover will be introduced. In the model range of the Czech brand car will take place below Karoq and Kodiaq.
The press service of the company decided to launch a rather aggressive teaser campaign of the new Skoda Kamiq crossover. Now the web has the first picture of the interior. Judging by the image, the model will receive modern equipment, including a large multimedia display, an electronic instrument panel, as well as a modern climate control unit and a multimedia steering wheel.
Trim will be offered as a fabric, and leather, but the details have not been announced. The company also added that the interior equipment is one of the richest in the segment, and the multimedia display at 10.25 inches is one of the largest.
As a basis, a modular modular platform MQB-A0 of the VAG Group will be laid. The engine range has not yet been confirmed, but we can expect three-cylinder turbo engines with power up to 95 and 115 horsepower. Together with them will offer “mechanics” and “automatic”, but the presence of all-wheel drive questionable.
On sale model will appear this year. The price tag is still unknown.
