Skoda told about the new compact crossoverFebruary 28, 2018
The company Skoda has published a new teaser image of its new conceptual crossover and shared the first technical characteristics of this car. The prototype called Vision X, which will be presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6, will be able to use three energy sources at once.
So, the car can ride on gasoline, gas (CNG) and electricity. In addition, the driver can at any time switch the drive (rear, front, full) crossover.
The novelty is completed with the four-cylinder 1.5-liter TSI engine, which is already actively used by the VW Group, and two gas cylinders. In CNG mode, the engine power is 130 horsepower. The car then activates the front-wheel drive.
Also Vision X is an electric motor, which, if necessary, activates the rear drive. With combined use, the crossover becomes all-wheel drive. Such a complex power plant allows the novelty to accelerate to 100 km / h in 9.3 seconds. The maximum speed is 200 km per hour.
The company noted that the appearance of Skoda Vision X is inspired by the “traditions of Bohemian crystal”. The car received aggressive bumpers, massive rapids, a glass panoramic roof, as well as 20-inch alloy wheels. In the cabin is a wide central panel with a separate color display with an “intuitive interface”, through which you can manage the multimedia system and network connection functions.
