Skoda will bring to the motor show in Paris, which opens on October 2, five new cars. So, on the motor show the public will be shown the concept car Vision RS. This prototype is designed to give an idea of ​​the future “charged” models of the Czech brand.

The overall length of the car is 4.3 m, width – 1.8 m, and height – 1.4 m. The size of the wheelbase will be 2.6 meters. The company said that when developing the Vision RS, great attention was paid to aerodynamics. Distinctive features of the concept car were low-set head lights, a large optimized roof spoiler and rear diffuser.

Interior Vision RS will receive the finishing with carbon fiber and crunch. The car will be equipped with sports seats, a digital instrument panel, a large touch screen and a multimedia system.

Also, the company Skoda will present at the Paris Motor Show a “charged” crossover Kodiaq RS. The car will be available in seven- and five-seater versions. Sports crossover will be equipped with a 2.0-liter BiTDI engine. The unit’s capacity is 239 hp. The engine will work in conjunction with a robotic gearbox with two clutches and four-wheel drive.

The dynamic characteristics of the novelty are not yet called. According to preliminary data, the car will be able to accelerate from place to 100 km / h in approximately 6.5 seconds, and its maximum speed will be 230 km per hour.

Also on the motor show debuts a modification of Karoq called Sportline. This version received a 2.0-liter TSI engine. The power of the unit is 190 hp. The car is available with both front and all-wheel drive.

Another premiere in Paris is the special version of Karoq off-road. The novelty is called Scout. The car is equipped with special plastic covers for body protection, chrome grille, massive wheel arches and wheel disks 18 or 19 inches in diameter. For the car are available diesel engines with a capacity of 110 kW (150 hp) and 140 kW (190 hp) and a petrol unit of 1.5 TSI, developing 110 kW (150 hp). All units work together with the all-wheel drive system.

In addition, on the motor show debuted Octavia, working on compressed natural gas. The novelty is available only in the body of the station wagon. The power reserve of the novelty is up to 480 kilometers when working on compressed natural gas. The car is equipped with three tanks with a total capacity of 17.7 kilograms, and as a backup in Octavia a small gasoline tank with a capacity of 11.8 liters is installed.
