Skoda teases fans with sketches of the new Octavia RS iVFebruary 5, 2020
With the help of new images, the Czech automaker seeks to revive interest in the upcoming debut of its new items.
motor1.com publishes the official sketches of the fourth generation Skoda Octavia RS iV, which introduces the brand’s fans to the exterior of the novelty. The automaker is going to present the electrified Octavia with the RS prefix March 3 as part of the Geneva Motor Show. The Octavia RS iV will be powered by a 245-horsepower hybrid powerplant with a plug-in module. This car boasts an enviable economy and low emissions.
In total, Skoda unveiled three original sketches: we see on them both the liftback and the more practical station wagon. Some lines of the novelty are a little exaggerated, but the horizontal strip of DRL on LEDs looks very traditional. With its help, the manufacturer will highlight the car among the smaller versions of the line.
The front bumper receives large side air intakes, but the disks shown on teaser images may actually be slightly smaller. In the station wagon, the exterior mirrors are painted in contrasting black, but in the liftback, the same exterior detail repeats the body shade. The usual Skoda logo on cars is missing, which for fans of the Czech brand has long been no surprise. It was replaced by the large letters “SKODA”.
