Skoda has shared new teaser images of the Enyaq cross, which will be the Czech brand’s debut all-electric SUV.
The sketches show the optics of the upcoming model, which will be made in the style of Scala and Kamiq. As the press center of the brand said, when creating headlights and lanterns, Skoda specialists were again inspired by Bohemian crystal.
Cars will be equipped with narrow headlights with LED crystals and lanterns with a 3-dimensional pattern. Speaking about the exterior of the cross in general, the Czech company believes that it will have “balanced dynamic proportions.” In addition, Skoda said that the dimensions of the new product will differ from the brand’s previous SUVs. The drag coefficient of an electric vehicle is 0.27. Trunk volume – 585 liters.
As noted, the novelty will be built on the MEB modular platform. The car will share the main components and assemblies with the cross-coupe Volkswagen ID.4. Enyaq will be offered with both rear and all-wheel drive. The Czech brand has confirmed that the flagship version of the model will be able to cover a distance of up to 500 km on a single charge.
The Enyaq electric cross is due to debut on September 1 this year in Prague. The car will go on sale in 2021.
