The company Skoda declassified the interior of the “charged” RS-modification of the crossover Kodiaq. The public premiere of the novelty will be held in early October within the framework of the Paris Motor Show. The interior of the car was trimmed with alcantara, carbon and plastic. The car comes with a multifunctional steering wheel with the RS logo, a new dashboard, stainless steel pedals and sports seats.
As for the exterior, then from the standard Kodiaq sports version will differ more aggressive front part of the body, reinforced front pillars, fully LED headlamps, and light-alloy 20-inch wheel disks.
Skoda Kodiaq RS will be equipped with the most powerful diesel engine that has ever been installed on Czech cars. The crossover will be equipped with a two-liter four-cylinder supercharger, developing 240 hp. and 500 Nm of torque. The engine will work in tandem with a robotic gearbox with two clutches and four-wheel drive.
In the summer of 2018, Skoda Kodiaq RS camouflaged a record of the Nürburgring’s “North Loop” among the serial cars with a seven-seat saloon. The crossover under the direction of the German racer Sabina Schmitz drove a 20.8 kilometer circle route for 9 minutes and 29.84 seconds.
