Skoda Kodiaq RS will be equipped with the most powerful diesel engine that has ever been installed on Czech cars. The crossover will be equipped with a two-liter four-cylinder supercharger, developing 240 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The engine will work in tandem with a robotic gearbox with two clutches and four-wheel drive.
In the summer of 2018, Skoda Kodiaq RS camouflaged a record of the Nürburgring’s “North Loop” among the serial cars with a seven-seat saloon. The crossover under the direction of the German racer Sabina Schmitz drove a 20.8 kilometer circle route for 9 minutes and 29.84 seconds.
