Skoda officially declassified the new Superb Scout with all-wheel driveMay 24, 2019
All-terrain wagon based on the flagship sedan of the Czech company was shown at a special event in Bratislava. The car has an increased ground clearance, all-wheel drive and powerful engines.
Now in Europe you can buy all-wheel drive wagon Skoda Suberb Scout. The model has become not just a cross-version of the station wagon, but a real practical car with increased cross-country ability. The premiere of the car was held in the framework of the World Hockey Championship, which takes place in the Slovakian Bratislava.
The design can be noted significant changes in the direction of increased “brutality” thanks to the new bumpers, extended wheel arches, door sills and unique alloy wheels. The ground clearance was increased by only 15 mm, but this was enough to increase the terrain. Changes occurred in the cabin, where there was a combined upholstery, as well as trim from imitation of natural wood.
Superb Scout is presented only in the station wagon. Under the hood offers a 2.0-liter gasoline or diesel engine with a capacity of up to 272 and 190 horsepower, respectively. Together with them the automatic transmission on seven steps and the system of a full drive work.
On sale model will appear no earlier than 2020. Price tag is still a mystery.
