The network has new photos of the cross-version of the popular crossover Skoda Kodiaq GT. Apparently, Kodiaq GT is already ready for debut and will be presented on August 31 as part of the automotive exhibition in Chengdu.
We have repeatedly written and shown the future cross-coupe from Skoda. Until now, the car has not been officially introduced. Skoda Kodiaq GT has already been completely unveiled both on the official photographs of the patent office and on spy images. Now were published fresh photographs showing the readiness of the model for the debut.
Apparently, the public presentation will take place on August 31 as part of the automobile exhibition in Chengdu (China). At the moment it is known that the model will be presented exclusively in the five-seater version. The length of the cup-shaped cross is 4 634 mm, which is 63 mm less than the standard colleague. The height of the model is 1 649 mm (-27 mm). The width and wheelbase remained unchanged: 1,883 mm and 2,791 mm respectively.
The design of the car will almost completely correspond to its predecessor. But some changes will still appear: Kodiaq GT will receive a slightly redesigned front bumper, different from the original grille, as well as a completely revised rear with a beveled roof. Of course, the rear has received a completely new optics, a new bumper and an inscription on the trunk lid “Skoda”.
Under the hood of the new modification, positioned as a new model, a two-liter turbo engine from the VAG group will be installed, capable of developing up to 186 and 220 horsepower depending on the modification. In pair with it the automatic transmission on seven steps will work. In addition, the car will be available full drive.
In the interior of any changes are not expected, and you can see the usual salon with standard equipment from Volkswagen. At the moment, the car is already in the test production, where the technology of conveyor assembly is being debugged. Sales of the car will begin before the end of this year. But when it goes beyond the China, or whether it will come out – it is unknown.
Meanwhile, Skoda has published the official teaser of a new version of its crossover Kodiaq, which will be presented in October at the Paris Motor Show.
