Skoda Kamiq for the Geneva Motor Show declassified eyewitnessesMarch 4, 2019
On the eve of the Geneva Motor Show, companies are preparing their stands for a public demonstration. Eyewitnesses managed to photograph a new crossover during preparation for the show.
The network published the first “live” photos of the new crossover Skoda Kamiq. The model is preparing for tomorrow’s debut, but now witnesses have not restrained themselves and have posted the first photos of the live production sample. The novelty represents a compact segment with an affordable price tag. The modified platform MQB-A0 was taken as the basis. Model dimensions: length – 4,241 mm, width – 1,793 mm, height – 1,531 mm, wheelbase size – 2,651 mm
Judging by the photos, the model will receive short overhangs and a fairly high clearance. Also stand out interesting alloy wheels. However, the feature of the model will be almost coupe-like roof, and front optics in a split style. Rear lights will get a slightly narrowed design and sharp edges.
As a power unit will be offered a line of economical TSI turbo engines with a working volume of 1.0 liters and a capacity of up to 95 and 115 horsepower. In the top-end configuration will be offered a 1.5-liter 150-horsepower engine, as well as offer a diesel version with a 1.6-liter engine with 115 horsepower.
